Happy Halloween

Friday night mommy and I took you out to our mall to trick or treat for your first halloween experience.  You LOVED IT.  You loved watching all the people and walking all over the mall.  You didn’t quite get the treat part but that’s okay, cause you only got one lil lick of a sucker.  No candy yet for you girly.  Everyone of course commented and thot you were a doll.  But we know that.  Hee Hee….  those cheeks, I could eat them.

Just more Darlingness

You are just so darling right now.  Below are examples of you this past month.  You love to put on pretty things.  Every morning you sit in with mommy and get pretty.  Nana has a beauty station toy and it is your fav.  You sit and chew on all the lip sticks and nail polish toy parts.  Your favorite is trying to get on the bench in front of it.  You are a climber my girl.  You climb everything.  If we give you a chair or stool, you work and work until you can get yourself set on it correctly.  You also love to climb at daycare and have been known to just climb over the top of other babies while they are in their own car seats…..  Mommy took you and your friend Cam over to the pumpkin patch in IL.  You got your first pumpkin and just had a ball over there because they had a kitty that you absolutely loved.  When you got back, I took a few pics of you with your first pumpkins.  I think that mommy is dressing you up as a girl pirate….  Hmmmm is there a name for girl pirates?  Anyway, you look so adorable.

On another note.  You and I have been going to Kindermusic this past month as well.  I know I have been slacking on posts, but trying to catch up here.  You LOVE kindermusic.  You love the drums, the rattles, the group dances and most of all just crawling around and hugging the teachers play bunny.  This past week, you just took off and walked like a maniac.  You had been taking a few steps here and there, but we got to KM and you just walked everywhere.  I was shocked.  Then you went home and mommy called me and said…..  OMG, Mar is just walking everywhere.  I am like I know, she was doing that earlier.  Mommy was upset as you are just getting so big and we don’t want you growing up so darn fast.  Jenny told us just to knock you down so you would not walk yet…..  hee hee….  silly girl.  Anyway, we will do KM for 8 weeks and hopefully I will get some pics.  You seem to totally enjoy it and as long as you do, we will continue to go.  I think you really have a love for music.  When I sing to you, you start dancing and it is priceless.  So this past week you have preferred walking over crawling.  you are getting very good at it.  Our baby is just not a baby….  mommy and I have been making plans for your 1st Birthday Party.  OMG, I just can’t believe I typed that.  One year old.  I can’t even think about it.

Our Gorgeous Girl

Your Auntie Kelly had this lil bracelet made for you when you were born.  You got to wear it finally as it now fits your “thin” little wrists….hehe  It looked so darling on you and you LOVED it.  You love putting on mommy’s necklaces and her powder (for pretend) etc….  then we tell you how beautiful you are and you just love it.  This past week you have learned so much.  You are often just standing on your own, contemplating taking your first step, you climb on EVERYTHING.  Always bee-lining for the stairs.  You think it is soooo funny to shake your head back and forth like a crazy girl, and when we clap for you and tell you good job about something, you get so excited and clap for yourself.  Oh and you love to click your tongue and make a clicking noise.  Too darling.  You are definitely not shy and have no problems crawling into the one year old room at your daycare and just taking over at play time.  You love watching little kids and can’t seem to get enough of them.  We love you!!!!13

Marley Bug – 9 months old

This little bug outfit was your mommy’s when she was 9 months old.  I am so glad I saved it, since I call you my little bug.  Mar bug.  You are so darling, you hold onto everything and try to walk.  Twice this week you have let go and just stand there unsure of what to do next.  You love your push toys and walk all around with them.  And the pic of you upside down is your favorite position.  You are such a little dare devil.  And the fountain, you loved watching it and just wanted to get your hands in it.  It was adorable.  Nana was in New Orleans all last week and missed you soooo much.  I swear you grew an inch while I was gone.  You had your ears tested today and your hearing is now perfect.  Dr. H said you are good to go now and hopefully no more ear issues.  Yiiipppeee.  Oh and your new words are bye bye….  You wave and say bye bye when we leave.  I still keep working on nana….  I know your gonna get it soon.  We love you to pieces!!!!!

Heelarious

Auntie T bought these adorable heels long ago.  You now fit in them.  You look so funny wearing High Heels.  Here is a website with more darling heelarious heels http://www.babyonce.com/Heelarious-Crib-Shoes.aspx?gclid=CPCGwNzAoZwCFRINDQodtn-scw  We all know you have a shoe issue like your mother.  She had about every pair of shoes for you they make.  Of course now she is realizing, you don’t really like to keep them on your feet.  One sad day, mommy had to go through all the shoes you have grown out of, so of course we took pics of those so you can see how awesome your wardrobe was accessorised.  Plus so you could give them proper goodbye kisses….  Hehe

Daycare Celebration

Friday eve, after your ear surgery, you were feeling pretty good so we attended your daycare’s 3rd Birthday carnival.  You slept thru the entire visit the first round thru.  There was no waking you so papa and I took you to the car to go home and sure enough, you awoke ready to go.  So we took you back to see the activities.  Mommy had to work at the tatoo booth for the event, so she took a break to show you the animals.  You just love animals!  You got to pet your first mule, lamb and goat.  You also got your first tattoo at mommy’s booth, however you did not like the cold water on your leg, so you just got 1/2 a tattoo.  We ran into lots of your teachers at daycare and lots of your friends.  We had a very fun time.IMG_3872IMG_3876IMG_3881IMG_3883IMG_3891IMG_3897

Time for Tubes

Last Friday you had to have tubes put in your ears.  You have had one ear infection after another since birth.  Dr. H says you don’t hear so well and have lots of fluid in there, so tubes are needed.  We hated having to take you and it was a scary thing for mommy and I.  Everyone at the hospital thought you were such a happy little camper and such a good girl.  I picked you and mommy up at 550AM and we headed for the pediatric department.  After lots of checks, they prepped you for surgery and away you went.  One thing mommy worked out with Dr. H was that while you were under she wanted your ears pierced so that you would not feel the pain of it.  So when you got back to us, you had beautiful ears.  But the first couple hours were a bit rough on you.  After coming out of the anesthetic you were out of it and super cranky.  Lots of loves later, you started to fall asleep.  You didn’t want anyone but mommy.  Not long after we got to take you home.  Your first set of ear drops hurt so bad, but as the afternoon wore on, you were much more yourself and feeling pretty good.  We are so glad your doctor fixed your little ears.  Now we think you can hear much better as your new thing is to screech super loud and smile.  I think you like the sound of it.

Your First Parade/Boat Ride

Saturday we went over to Dallas City to help them celebrate 150 years!!!!!!!  You, Lily, Olivia and Kenzie rode in the parade in a boat for the Ducks Unlimited with G Grampy.  You loved all the activity and stayed awake clear to the end.  G Grammy, Tam, Kel and I cheered you on as you went by!!!!!!   There were 80 participants in the parade and you loved watching the bands practice.  After the parade (Your First Real Boat Ride, on land of course) we took a walk around town to see all the fun and activity.  You loved watching the boats practice for the race and all the kids having fun.  We then came back to G Grammy’s for a great cook out and lots of family and friends.  IMG_0134IMG_3696IMG_0148

My little lady

Now that you are big enough to join the “Tandly family parties” you had a blast with Kenzie and Lily in the pool.  They loved floating around with you.  Oh and just so you know, this little suit is from your friend Hadley.  She wore this when she was 2….  Yes 2 years old (at two she was a tiny lil thing).  And if I remember right, it might have been a little big on her…..  he he he…..  we love the rolls.
